OSDA Quoting Fundamentals: Accuracy & Speed

At OSDA, our ability to quote with precision, speed and competitive pricing, relies on our execution of very specific processes.

When you are ready to request a quote from OSDA we need the following information to be able to quote in a timely fashion.
Please check your files and provide as much detail as possible. Remember to include information such as:

• Turn-Key / Consigned Material / Partial Turnkey
• RoHS Processing
• Multiple Price Breaks
• Assembly Turn-Around Time
• Best Price or Minimal Lead time

To ensure your quote can be processed promptly, please provide OSDA with a Bill of Materials in excel format that consists of the following: Please separate all categories in their own respective columns
                  Customer Part Numbers / Reference Designators / Quantities / Manufacturer Names / Manufacturer Part Numbers /                   Description of Component

Board Package Folder Containing:
                  Gerber Files / Cad File / Assembly and Fabrication Drawings in PDF Format

Documentation:
                  BOM – Primary source for any conflicting information, in excel format
                  Formats accepted – .xls, .xlsx, csv or tab-delimited text
                  Revision – Very Important so we know what version we are building.

1. Board Level and Assembly Level
2. Component Quantity
3. Customer Internal Part Number
4. Manufacturer Part Number
5. Manufacturer Name
6. Description (Package Size, Tolerance, Voltage, etc.)
7. Highlight any Do Not Populate in red.

If the following information is included in the quote package we can guarantee a full turnkey quote within 5 DAYS OR LESS!
